Army ROTC students

The mission of JROTC is to motivate young people to be better citizens. 

 

The Hornet Battalion is a “leadership lab” where cadets develop into leaders through challenging activities.  Major activities include; Physical Fitness, Drill and Ceremonies, American History and Civics, Aerial Drone Team, Raiders, Orienteering, and STEM Camp.  Cadets are required to correctly wear an Army uniform one day a week and participate in physical activities.

This program prepares high school students for leadership roles while making them aware of their rights, responsibilities, and privileges as American citizens. It is a stimuli for promoting graduation from high school and it provides instruction and rewarding opportunities which will benefit the student, community, and nation.
